According to a press release sent, the six men got out of their cars, surrounded Kashmera, tried to attack her and even threatened her. When she began screaming at them and calling out to security guards, the gang ran away in their cars. However, Kashmera remembered to click the number plate of one of their cars with her cell phone as they fled. She along with Krushna was supposed to file a police complaint on July 7 at Oshiwara Police Station.

However, the miscreants landed up in Kashmera’s residence the next morning, seeing reports of their cars’ numbers in the media. “They apologised in front of me and I did want to be threatened later,” said Kashmera when contacted. Her publicist confirmed the news saying, “Yes, she was assaulted by six men who later came and apologised to her. She did not want to take the risk of filing a complaint as they are notorious people which might make her fall in trouble.
